How do I read the error codes

I have 40,000 on my 2006 Tocoma. Every time I turn the key on the engine lite comes on and then blinks six times before going out. Is this a indicator that something is wrong. I've never saw this before.

That does sound correct being it came about after 40,000 came on my ODM. Do you know how I can reset it?

Yes it is. Do you have the owner's manual. It usually says what the various indicator lights mean. You need to take your vehicle in.
